LEARN BY PLAYING
A small target. Plenty to think about.
Boccia is a precision sport played with red and blue balls and a white target called the jack. Your aim is to finish closer to the jack than the other side. A gentle draw, a useful block or a well-judged contact can change the end.
This boccia online game gives you a place to explore those decisions. The court follows the sport’s 12.5 m by 6 m layout, including the throwing area. Ball movement and collisions run through a real-time physics engine. The simulation approximates soft boccia balls with rigid bodies; it is a learning game, not a substitute for handling real equipment.

How to play the boccia game
- Choose your court. Practise with unlimited throws, play the computer at one of three levels or choose local two-player on the same device.
- Set the target. In a match, throw the white jack beyond the V line. Practice starts with a target you can reposition.
- Find your line. Move the mouse or drag sideways to aim. Drag down and release to throw. You can also use the direction, power and loft sliders, then press Throw.
- Read the court. Switch to Overhead or Jack cam. The side further from the jack normally plays next, so the turn does not simply alternate.
- Count the points. Balls closer than the opponent’s nearest ball score. Four ends make a match; a tie-break resolves a level result.
Controls that suit you
Use the sliders and Throw button without gestures. With the court focused, arrow keys adjust direction and power; Space throws. Settings include sensitivity, a short aiming guide, high contrast, reduced camera motion and sound controls. On touch screens, one finger aims and throws; two fingers rotate and zoom the view.
The menus and controls work with a keyboard and have text labels. Court positions are visual; the game does not yet provide a complete non-visual playing experience. Match play omits classification equipment checks, referee-conduct penalties and official clocks. See the current World Boccia rules for formal competition.
