Get to know boccia Boccia is a target ball sport. The aim? Get your red or blue balls closer to the white target ball, called the jack.
That simple idea opens up a surprisingly thoughtful game. You decide where to aim, listen to your teammates and adjust when the court changes.
For a school class, it can be a fresh way to explore teamwork. For colleagues, a shared challenge outside the usual meeting room. For a community group, a reason to spend an enjoyable afternoon together.

Can complete beginners join?
Yes. Let us know that your group is new to boccia so the session can begin with a demonstration and guided practice. You don’t need to learn the rules before enquiring.
Can you organise boccia at our school or venue?
Share the location, available indoor space and approximate headcount. We’ll discuss the layout, access and session arrangements before confirming the programme.
Is boccia suitable for seniors or people with different abilities?
Recreational boccia can be adapted around the group. Tell us about seating, access and support needs early so the delivery team can assess the arrangements. Any ramp or specialist equipment requirements need to be confirmed in advance.
How much does a boccia programme cost?
The quotation depends on your group size, duration, venue and support requirements. Send an enquiry for a plan and price based on your group.
Can we enquire about a boccia SEP programme?
Yes. Momentum Academy coordinates SEP enquiries through a partner operator. Ask for the current endorsed programme details and confirm eligibility before committing school funds. Read the school SEP guide.
